Has anyone received email newsletters from the Swans this year? They were a regular feature each week for the past few years. I notice there isn't a sign-up link on the Swans website anymore either. Anyone know anything about this?

Rejected somehow
After spending considerable time on the phone with Swans Membership people, there appears to be no explanation why I don't get the emails. Email correct, no spam filter knocking them out. They can send me email, just not through whatever mass mailing program they use. Even signed up under a different email - no luck. I know of a few others who have this problem (different ISPs).

Just got another one. They are information pieces on tickets and events and provide nothing from a football perspective.
We have seen very little in the press this preseason and the only info we pick is from the odd comments by Roos and from posters on RWO and Big Footy. We talk on here about the merits of our younger footballers but rarely is anything forthcoming from the club. In Melbourne we see interminable pieces on young footballers and their performances from the Melbourne clubs but nothing on our boys.
A match report of the practice matches from the coaches with a bit of indepth stuff and insight into how particular players are going. eg. LRT and Malceski coming off injuries, young player progress etc. There is no shortage of info they could give us and no shortage of staff and qualified people to put it together.
As a young kid growing up I had a voracious appetite for info South but I had the advantage of going to see the 2's and 1's every week so was able to soak it up every week. Times have changed and we can't do that now, but so has technology, still our club struggles to provide insightful information.Comment

When I called the membership hotline in Jan this year i confirmed they had my correct email address, which they now do. I am yet to recieve one email from them. Someone really needs to look through their database and how it's managed, I'm losing count of the number of errors myself and those around me have engaged with the Swans lists.10100111001 ;-)Comment

I've been getting the mass emails every week for the years they've been sending them up until the end of last year. Since then - not a single one. Nothing's changed at my end, so have they chucked me out of the club, even though I renewed my (highly inflated) membership last December? All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing. - Edmund BurkeComment

Is Tony Morwood still our Melbourne Manager. After we won the flag he was full of it telling us he was going to keep in touch etc. Unless you go to the pricey functions they put on you don't hear boo from him.Comment
