I second the DOK motion. Hopefully some of the youngsters get a run and deliver. Or at worst, some of the older guys get a run and deliver.

Meh. He'll spend every training session running laps for the next few weeks. Will do wonders for his fitness, which is his main concern. Would have liked to see him play a few games early, but long term, I don't think this will do any harm at all. Maybe not help, but it won't hurt.
Officially on the Reid and Sumner bandwagon!

Might have to get my old boots out....at this rate we won't have a team to field.....the list gets poorer by the day.

Yes,we don't have much depth in our list.
They had two teams in yesterdays Herald Sun.The first (I'm Not sure who it was) had a long list of reserves whereas the Swannies had nothing in this category. We are paying the price of Kennelly and Fozzie not retiring before draft day and even then we chose to pick up young players who are remaining in Melbourne to finish school.
We have since endured a couple of long term injuries,Heath ( out for the year), Vespa for 8 weeks and Leo for a lengthy time.We still don't have MOL and I've probably missed a couple.
It's definately time for our fringe players to stand up.They have a chance to show their wares today at Lakeside.
