That's a dreadful injury list before the season proper has even started.

- animal psychic Amanda de WarrenI don't eat animals since discovering this ability. I used to. But one day the lamb I was eating came through to me and ever since then I haven't been able to eat meat. -
Oh God, please get Mick and Paddy back to us quickly, everyone pray together, or do something, were two short to start with, that's awful

He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)Comment

My guess. Let's run a book, everyone PM Scott a dollar- winner takes all.
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his timeComment

The 9th April injury list still has Playfair as indefinite. This after no preseason for him. I presume he was on a 2 year contract when traded - in which case it could be the end for him. Bad luck - and we had better hope Johnston is a fast developer!Comment

Current bright spots: the claim that MOL is only 1-2 weeks away. And the availability of Matt Laidlaw.
Sure, his first hitout (or two) will be in the seconds, but for his sake and ours, this is a guy we need to see a lot more of at the top level in 2009. At his best, with no disrespect to the likes of Brabazon and Thornton, he should be able to run rings around them in the race to be in our best 22.
Sure, at this point of the year you'll take bright spots where you can get them on the injury front.Comment

We've got 26 fit players and that's including Hall and White who have major injury concerns. Not the best thing though Magic possibly playing some of the Reserves this Saturday is.

It's a bit odd that Murphy would go back to Ireland while injured. You'd think the club would be best-placed to manage his recovery.Comment
