Malceski on the bench is a a bit surprising.

All of Crouch Ablett and Buchanan are a bit disappointing.

I hope they aren't serious about playing Grundy at CHB and Teddy at CHF.

      Good side other than that.

Teddy at CHF and Grundy replacing him in the backline - that's pretty interesting.

If Grundy was ever going to be given a chance up forward, I would've thought now was the time.

All pretty predictable, but the addition of a bloke who has played about 3 games in his life as an emergency must surely count as both 'new' and 'interesting'.

True - selected positions count for very little with Roosy.

I'd like to see Grundy up forward - I think thats where he belongs, and Teddy certainly belongs down back. It will be interesting to see how Ablett and Crouch go - good luck to them. Hopefully they go ok and we get a win - ugly will be just fine too.

I think Jesse White is the smart choice for 2nd ruck at this stage too.

Just hope Vespa can make it back soon....

                  Yawn.

Would have been good to see another youngster in the team ahead of Ablett.

Has Crouch played many of the pre-season games?
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

How's he gone? I honestly don't remember spotting his name for any of them (I haven't seen a single pre-season game this year bar the NAB cup one).

I should say I don't mind his inclusion, I admit I wasn't happy about his return to the team late last year but he proved me wrong (I thought he was done) and I thought he was actually really good.

His DT scores were 39 45 33 for an average of 39.

Which is about 2/3rds on the way down on the list of the Swans.

Crouch's selection grates. I had hoped some things had changed that have clearly not changed.
He had observed that people who did lie were, on the whole, more resourceful and ambitious and successful than people who did not lie.
