    thoughts RE Judd

Now I admit I only saw the game until half time, but what amazed me was the commentary in that from what I saw Judd didnt do much at all, in fact you wouldnt have known he was even on the pitch - it was the youngsters Robinson & the skinny kiddy with the Errol Flynn Mo who were very very good. However, the commentators turned this around and said (in a post orgasmic fashion of course) "isnt it good that Carlton are using all their players and not just relying on Judd" - I took this in the context of its not that Judd has been doing jack, but the others had pretty much finally put in - or am I just talking out of my more than ample rear end. (if he played a blinder in the second half, then please disregard all of the above.) But what I saw of the game Judd was , well a bit of a Dudd really. I did like the game as it was fast and high scoring and I just fear that tomorrow nights game with us & the Saints is not going to be like that! (I hope that I'm wrong though - hell covering all bases here!!!) still people make sure (those of you who are watching the game on the teve,) you have a cupboard full of booze - you will need it to get through it!

I used to be indecisive, but now I'm not so sure..................

I didn't think Judd was anything special last night. I'll reserve my judgment on where he's at after a few more games, both to see how he is tracking over several weeks, but also to see how he goes against an opposition that isn't having an absolutely awful game.

    I'm on the Chandwagon!!!

If you cannot compete for the premiership, it's better to be young and exciting than middle-aged and dowdy.

Who would you rather, Judd or Kreuzer?
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

Kreuzer looks LRT when he gets the ball, confused and running in circles.

I thought he looked a lot better than LRT. Imagine having Kreuzer, Gibbs and Murphy in your midfield- they're good now, but in 3 years (assuming you can keep them)?!?!?!?!?

The beauty of spooning for a few years.
And to think they missed some exciting young talent, back when they had their draft picks taken away for Salary Cap breaches!!!

I think everyone's just getting too excited over "Judd" and "Cousins" (i.e. the media).

I think they are forgetting that CARLTON (who, have been at the very bottom of the table for a while now), played RICHMOND (who are not much better). One of them had to win.

Let's see how they both do next week.

At least they got over 80K at the game - and that's gotta be a good thing.
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.

I kept thinking of the Aints, they were supposed to all of a sudden be all conquering because of all the high draft picks.

But in this case I think they're actually 3/3 legit players.

                      Judd was good, not great.
                      Cousins ditto.
I'd say Wallace has had it.
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)

Poor bugger. If he finished up with the Sydney job, Davis would have got him a premiership and cemented his reputation as a super coach for ever.

Judd was second behind murphy on the dream team points so couldnt have done too badly. can still find the ball and remember it is onlt round one.

I had actually hoped that Richmond would be a little more competitive but maybe just goes to show that bottoming out may not always be the solution.

Surely last nights hamstring twinge answered the "why not cousins" question.
