    Good on you Jarrad

Here's a story in today's press about the McVeighs. Great to see that Jarrad persisted and won last year's B & F after getting bagged by so many people, especially in this forum.

Interesting read. The combination of competitive thoughtful planner sounds even better for the future.
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)

I'm glad he has come through. Was always a fan of his and never lost faith in his ability to get where he is now.

          Ditto.

I am the proud owner of a single-digit McVeigh bandwagon membership badge.

I did have some doubts in 2007 as he states he was disappointed toowith that year.

But boy oh boy I was impressed last night. He had taggers hanging off him, blocking him etc and he kept cool calm and diplyed electrifying speed ,immense physical strngth whilst on the move and his kicking has improved immensely(occasionally Malcheskiesk...new word)

Me, well I bagged him mercelessly for years. I now have my foot firmly planted in my mouth. Makes me nervous about railing about Reg who annoys the bejjeesus out of me, and Cheese is starting to as well. The rest of them are safe.

Its a good read. He may not have the personality that lights up a room, but he'll do. He's a Swan.

... and after last year I've had more than a few helpings of humble pie!!
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.
