    Frosty

Just wondering if anyone can rememeber how good Frosty was? As a new member I would love everyone to take a trip down memory lane and revisit a time when Frosty was hitting Plugger lace out.

I remember when he got knocked out by Ricky Mott.

Fortunately for Frosty, saved him the shame of a defeat that night.
In memory of my little Staffy - Dicey, 17.06.2005 to 1.12.2011- I'll miss you mate.

That was about the best play Mott ever did for the swans

          Yes I remember...

"Out on the full" is more accurate than "lace out".
"As a player he simply should not have been able to do the things he did. Leo was a 185cm, 88kg full-back and played on some of the biggest, fastest and best full-forwards of all time, and constantly beat them." Roos.

Great memory. Yes he did hit him lace out, ONCE.

Then again I see more into your post than others.

AArrgghh you guys! He had the sweetest kick when he was on song. He and Nicksy used to put on a show. But the best by far is a record I believe he still holds. Telstra Dome, fairly sure it was our first game there, centre bounce comes down from I think Stafford, Kell swoops, passes to Frosty and Bang! Goal, in I think 19 seconds in all. Sweet.

Frosty had a huge but unreliable kick, rather like Luke Ablett's. He was a hard-working journeyman who played some terrific games in generally struggling sides.

Interviewer: dp: Where does the nickname Frosty come from ?
Daniel McPherson: Um, that's a name my Dad used to call me when I was 3 or 4, I had really white hair and he used to call me Frosty and Snowy, and Frosty stuck.
