The poos and wees fans have come out of the buffet and hutch.
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun. Blessedare the cracked for they are the ones who let in the light.
I'll be there on my birthday. How else to celebrate than to watch your team get flogged by 60 points.
Oh its so much fun to be a supporter when your team is in decline.
don't worry it's not too bad - my birthday was the geelong game last year!! if you are able to stop caring enough you can just admire the skills of the opposition!!

It's certainly far less stressful!
I didn't think my heart would survive 06 & 07. I started to relax a bit more last year and, even after travelling to Melbourne to watch the garbage they dished up on Saturday night, because I never expected to win it didn't send my blood pressure through the roof.
I have never been to ANZ Stadium but will have an opportunity to go to the game.
Can anyone advise as to what would be good seats to get to watch the game especially if it may rain. Also can one drive to the ground, and if so, where is the best place to park the car. Or would it be better to catch the train, and if so, from what station do I go to and is there a place to park the car.
Finally, should I pre-purchase the tickets or just rock up to the ground.

Where are you coming from? On match day State Rail runs regular express services from Central to Olympic Park. The trip takes about 12 minutes. Alternativley, you could park at Strathfield station and get the train to Olympic Park, about a 5 minute trip.
If you drive, you could try to find a parking spot in the streets surrounding the Stadium, or in one of the parking stations. You need to book for the parking stations through Ticketek.
You can rock up to the ground if you like, I doubt it will be sold-out. Maybe try Ticketek and ask for a good seat.
What you call a good seat depends on how close you want to be to the action.

btw Happy Birthday for saturday!!
I think that is the secret to enjoying the game.
Thank you for your best wishes and I hope your team wins on Sat night.
In memory of my little Staffy - Dicey, 17.06.2005 to 1.12.2011- I'll miss you mate.
So what do they play at the sydney football stadium them? NRL? soccer? it looks like a big stadium (from tv)
(God i hate NRL, Absolute crap to watch, rather watch english premier league anyday)
Im lucky living here in WA, I dont hear much about NRL, but when i sit down and watch fox sports news, its always on!!
The SFS was built in the late 1980s, basically for rugby league. It became something of a white elephant almost immediately when Sydney decided to bid for the 2000 Olympics, and the much larger stadium at Homebush was built.
Sydney FC (soccer) use it as their home ground.
