And we are pleased with the coach/selection committee/leadership group, old Uncle Tom Cobley and all.
Incidentally, isn't Meredith a close mate of Veszpremi? Could be an interesting reinforcement for each other when Vesz gets back on.
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)

Happy with the changes and can't say they weren't expected, but look at our Defence compared to Hawthorn's Forward Line and one can't think we aren't going to get killed here. The Midfield will decide the size of the margin.

Great news!! Meredith definitely has the tools to be successful at seniors. I hope they persist with him as he is a very smooth mover and a ball magnet!

Certainly is. Been mates for a long time.
Brett is a better all round footballer than Paddy.
Hes a natural footballer , along the lines of a Luke Power.
Really wrapt that we made the changes this week.

Good to see Meredith get a chance in the side.

Ablett was always going to be picked...

Old English folk song about all the people who are going to ride Tom Pierce's grey mare: Bill Brewer, Jan Stewer, Peter Gurner, Peter Davey, Dan'l Whidden, Harry Hawke, old Uncle Tom etc - sarcastic reference to all the people in any list. Useful on all occasions!
