Go Eski! Some great kicking for goal tonight.
He had observed that people who did lie were, on the whole, more resourceful and ambitious and successful than people who did not lie.

Seriously... Jolley is a dead-set star.
It is better to be silent, and thought a fool, than to open your mouth and remove all doubt.

Scores are even! Jolly is playing a good game. McVeigh impressive. Goodes getting better. Jack had a few good touches too.

Jack has given it up a couple of times now streaming forward. Now Hawks have a shot on goal.

            Franklin misses...1 point game.

Crouch is completely shot as a player.

Some terrible lack of vision getting it out of defence./ Twice a clear man centre was ignored and theywent wide instead.

Hawthorn gifted a goal from a shocking 50m.

That 50m penalty againsyt Hall is just a @@@@ling joke. We have been murdered by the umpires today. Just murdered. Roos looked absolutely flithy. They just get ready to blow the whistle as soon as whall goes within 50 m ofthe ball. Not good enough AFL.

At half time, it's bneen a good game, with the gloss taken off it somewhat by some biased umpiring. imagine how good it would feel to folloiw a club that the umpires actually favour or at worst are neutral towards.

Some of the young guys really standing up and that goal by WHite on the Siren was just wonderful to see, particularly as he ignored a faux Hall lead and went back and took the responsibility himself.

Meredith did a couple of nice things in his first game and clrealy has a future. McVeigh deserves special mention. I've bagged him as much as anyone, but he's showed tonight that he's become perhaps our best player.

Best - Jolly, McVeigh, Goodes, LRT, B2

Shaw needs to get his kicking sorted and our kick ins and centre clerance work could be a lot better. I hope Birdy is okay - really concerned he went down.

I think we can and should win this game from here.
