    Most Courageous Award v Hawks

Did anyone else notice the last minute act by Crouch to back back into Buddy Franklin on the lead?

It's easily the the hardest thing to do on a footy field... and by our equal smallest bloke. Made Franklin drop the mark and saved a goal.

    Very gutsy effort.

Leo Barry? you star! We'll miss ya, ''Leapin''.

So Crouch has reached the point in his career where getting in the way has become the thing he brings to the team?

How good was Rhyce Shaw's tackle on a rampaging Hawk who was about to stream in at an open goal?

Great effort that one as well.

He's really impressed me with his intensity. Certainly making me eat my words on his recruitment so far. Keep it up Rhyce!

Never dismiss Crouch. He may not be the player he was, but his is the player he is, and the word determined comes to mind.

Also Rhyce Shaw. Determined. Perhaps to prove a point, perhaps to dig in deep at the Swans. But its the definition we came up with for him.

Love watching Jolls. He has left the anxious puppy face far behind him now.

Lucky to get away with an over the shoulder tackle.
But, yes it saved a goal. Luckily the umps are blind, or stupid, or both.

It appears that Crouch did one thing on Saturday night. Pity about the rest of the game though.

What about when Birdy was almost knocked out on the far wing, in the hands of trainers, brushed them away and ran flat out head on into a hawks player and tackled him. Great Stuff from the young gun

In a night full of highlights, that was one of the best.
That kid is so mature in his approach to his footy, he is everything you would want in a young footballer.
