Vespa for example, with his finger injury, did attend, though if he'd flung his serious half arm cast around he could have caused an injury quite easily!

Let the conspiracy theories fly, as no doubt they will on this one, but the club holds its star player injury cards very close to its chest, even when its an in-house event. Baz is simply injured, they do not want to reveal the nature of it, and he didn't attend so as to rest the injury. Simple as that, in my opinion. Over to the conspirators for their version.....
It was said tongue in cheek. As if they'd be spouting anything of substance about an injury to a key player in that sort of forum.

Just read that he didn't go to training cauz of his injured groin again. Maybe thats why he didn't attend. Hopefully he hasn't injured it as bad as last year.

Guess by opening up this thread - I left myself open for a lot of silly comments. Stellation is certainly way off key re Barry not liking Redbacks group. Obviously you are not one and not been in attendance - as Barry does attend them and is very good with all in attendance as he is so popular.

Guess also all other suggestions of getting into trouble is off key too.

Shame - will not post again such an open thread.

Ignore stella. She's been pissed off with the Redbacks ever since he could not complete the dream, believe, achieve trifecta.

Word went out we was gonna rumble wiff de redbacks, chains okay but no blades. Redbacks turned up wiff blades. Losers (although not on that evening).
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline

You don't mean he did his groin off the field. Didn't Plugger do that jumping a fence at the dogs yet everyone thought he did it against Essendon at the G.

Apparently Barry has acquired the Oxford Street walk.

However not in the way you imagine.

Give him a break and play the understudy.

Ah the Oxford st walk...always reminds me of the film "The Birdcage" where Robin Williams character tries to teach his partner to walk like a man and he ends up walking like John Wayne.

As regards the understudy...players hate giving a mug a chance. He may not get his spot back.

He applied too much deepheat to the groin injury and he's currently sitting in an icebath! Or maybe he found God? or.......................
I used to be indecisive, but now I'm not so sure..................
