    Syd v Carl on 10HD!!

Finally some sense from a tv station regarding the broadcast of football. Just checked Age Green Guide and found Syd v Carl will be shown on Ten HD on Saturday arvo at 3pm, while hawks Port will be shown on regular Ten. It makes sense to show two different games when you have more than one channel, lets hope this is the way of the future!!!

Do you mean it will be on One? Because each station is only allowed to have 1 HD channel due to some agreement.

Sorry, I thought it was too good to be true. After speaking to Ten by phone it seems the listing in the Melbourne Age Green Guide is a misprint, Swans game will be on Ten HD in Sydney not Melb. Hawks v Port will be broadcast in Melb on Ten HD and Channel Ten. Looks like I'll be going to the pub after all!!

That is plain and simply ridiculous!
I thought this new TV deal was to give the game more FTA availability

We only get eight FTA games for the year, which is far worse than it used to be. I really don't like listening to football on radio.

Eight games on FTA isn't very many, guess how many Collingwood get?

How can it do that with only 4 fta games televised compared to 5 in the last deal.

The only improvement is that every game is broadcast on radio, so at least I don't have to spend three hours on the Internet to hear Swans games.
