hmm - you have to hope Cousins doesnt have an impact - but remember the last time he made a big comeback -oddly enough against us (even though he was playing for WC) and he had a blinder - we just cant assume that Richmond will be easy beats, I hope that we smash em and get some percentage increase, however, I'm just a little cautious thats all ( or Nervous Nellie!!!)
I used to be indecisive, but now I'm not so sure..................

Thorton won't get dropped. He played quite well. Kicked a goal, got a few possessions and clearly is a very good mark. Meredith is safe, played solidly, kicked very accurately, got some possessions. Barlow needs to be dropped but Roos will persist with him like Bevan and McVeigh. I reckon u will see something like this -

      OUT:
      Barlow

      IN:
      Buchanon

Hopefully Currie gets fit and can play soon. Looking at White's statistics he only got 3 hitouts (which is quite average), and a few possessions (prob more of a one of game but will be interesting to see how he does against Sandilands). He should play more of a forward role. Currie can also play forward which is good.

I was pointing out the possible outs for Hall and MOL, if they were included, as the OP is about them.

Given Roos persistence, I would wager he'd keep Barlow over Thornton, for Monty.

I thought Ed looked more at ease out there and wasn't overthinking things, I'd hate to see him dropped this week.
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

Barlow did a lot more than Thornton last Sat and you'd expect him to hold his place. If Buchy's run back into form you'd think he'd get a go because of his experience.

It's a real danger game. Freo will be smarting after last week's shellacking. We only just scraped home last time.

Thornton was in for Crouch. Dunno if they would drop him with the mindset that he is in a defensive role for a pure attacking player in Bucky.

I presume this means Tarrant will play up forward and possibly McPharlin too - with Pavlich and Schammer that's certainly not the worst forward line going round.

What really worries me about Richmond is that they'll lose this week, Wallace will get the sack, and with a new coach (whoever it is) they'll produce one of those honeymoon victories you always get in a coaches first game in charge.

Yeah just leave Reg up forward and see what happens, move white and Jolls around to make some tal targets, against Freo why risk aggravating an injury when the extra week off would do the world of good. Reg seems to be coming into his own now, a bonus if he steps up

Wallace is staying on until at least round 12, or so I heard.

Another comeback for Benny against us eh? There won't be a standing ovation for him at the SCG.

Don't know about that, he seemed to have plenty of fans on this forum before he was injured

If Hall and MOL are unavailable,I would not change the team from last week. Our players need continuity and more experience.
If we do make any changes I think it would be Buchanan in for Meredith.Meredith has had a couple of games now and hasn't really set the world on fire so he might need a run in the two's.I would prefer him to get the nod above Buccy because I don't feel that Buchanan is 100% a team player and he often does selfish things that cause errors. It wlso would be a great experience for Meredith,White,Thornton and Barlow to have a run on the big ground at Subi. Oh well,we'll see !!!!!
