I have little doubt it's the Subi factor.

Buchanan was truly outstanding in the Ressies on Saturday, so hopefully that translates to some form this weekend.
Driver of the Dan Hannebery bandwagon....all aboard. 4th April 09

      A thorn-ton in our sides.

Moore is not overly quick nor does he have any great running capacity which on the large Subi ground really limits him to a forward role only.

Bucky can play forward and also go into the middle when needed so the MC have probably decided to go with the extra depth to cover the midfield rotations.

As stated above, Moore is a great ball user and very creative, but at this stage of the season he is struggling to find vast amonts of the ball, a week in the ressies with a brief to get as much of the ball as possible should do him some good.

No co-incidence either that we retained both Merideth and Thornton who have some extra speed about them.

This would be so this week if they were playing in Sydney. However, seeing he is named as a reserve he would have gone to Perth, so I can't see how he can make it back to play in the reserves.

Sorry to see Moore omitted, cause he's a goer, but its great to have Amon back. Fingers crossed roosy actually plays him in the middle when he gets on.

Not a change that I was expecting.
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

Disappointing to see Moore out but I hope Monty contributes on the field.

Look at the bright side, at least we haven't got Scott McMoron(Mclaren).

No complaints about the team though.

Whilst I'm disappointed for Bulldog, he hasn't been hitting the heights lately. Very quiet, so I don't think it it that surprising.

Maybe he needs a bit of a shake up.

He often looks exposed on the big grounds - shame for the kid if he becomes a "small ground" specialist.

The Dockers goal to goal line actually looks pretty damn good on paper - let's hope they don't find form this week.

Amon is such a determined player, that being dropped will be a huge wake up call and can only fire him up. Witness his performance in the twos last weekend.

Also, it is refreshingly a sign of the return to some level of depth that Sydney can leave out of the 22 a player of Moore's ability.

I only caught the tail end of the ressies game so it's good to hear Monty was outstanding. This will be a very tough game I think.

yeah but we have "little Ray" I dont know whose worse The littlin or Mark Knoffler . Mind you with little Ray it would actually save the AFL heaps of $$ flying him around the country, he and his whistle would fit in to the overhead locker quite easily.
I used to be indecisive, but now I'm not so sure..................
