    Premiershiop in '09??

Ah, no...in case you were wondering what the Messiah was hoping to get out of the season

"The more they play, the more they are going to learn, and we have to keep going down that path of young guys and really fast-track their development. When they have had a couple of bad games, you've almost got to put them back to the seconds and hope they dominate the seconds. That's all part of the learning curve as well and hopefully by the back end of the season, we'll be a bit more consistent and resilient as a team."

...A BIT MORE CONSISTENT AND RESILIANT... at least he is as optimistic as the average supporter here.

Sounds like he rates the team as Essendon/Brisbane 2008 or thereabouts..hoping to get to tenth with some encouraging wins to pin a bit of hope on for 2010.
"I'll acknowledge there are more talented teams in the competition but I won't acknowledge that there is a better team in the competition" Paul Roos March 2005

Considering the lack of heart shown by 19 players in the first half on Saturday night, I'm not surprised.

But I will still keep the faith. The premiership race is not over until it is mathematically impossible. C'mon Swans, lift!
"It's up to the rest of the players in the room to make a new batch of premiership players next year," Adam Goodes, triple Bob Skilton Medallist, October 7, 2011.
