It would have been nice if the players had worn black arm bands to recognise the passing of former Swan Michael Parsons the day before the Freo match.
After playing basket ball in the NBL, Michael played SANFL footy with North Adelaide where he won a Premiership with North Adelaide and was awarded the Jack Oatey Medal for BoG in the GF. He was then drafted by Sydney to play 25 games.
