I will be going with 3 friends, we have got tickets in the Doug Wade stand. We are driving down to Geelong Saturday morning. There are trains that run to Geelong from Southern cross station, in the city, takes about an hour on the train, dont know how much it costs.

make sure you catch the train to South Geelong station. It is the closest station to the ground.

Presume you're flying down? ......I think that the airport -Geelong shuttle bus called 'The Gull' would be easier for you, rather than going into Melb to Sthn Cross station to catch the Geelong train.
The Gull timetable is on internet, you catch it just outside the terminal on that road that runs in front of the Airport hotel. You definitely shd book your seats ahead , it's a popular service. Takes about 1 hour door-to-door, its a reasonably easy walk down to Kard Park from bus terminal.

Wonder if there will be any pre/post game get-togethers in the vicinity.
Last year I was invited to pizza in Hoppers as opposed to anything in Geelong. Have no idea what is happening this year.
