    Hawthorn V Carlton

How good was that? What a finish! The last quarter was as amazing as last w'end's Pies v Bombers clash, only this time the team coming from behind (Carlton) were let down by Fevola, lining up for his 9th goal just 20 metres out after a superb duck and weave by a Carlton player past two Hawks to kick the ball 50m to Fevola, who marks the ball in a one on one contest. Fevola then just scrapes the post with his kick! He is shattered when the siren sounds about 30 seconds later.

I love this beautiful, thrilling, amazing game called Aussie Rules.

What can you say about Fevola's choke.

BTW Cruiser, I agree totally agree. That game typifies why we all love this sport.
..And the Swans are the Premiers...The Ultimate Team...The Ultimate Warriors. They have overcome the highly fancied Hawks in brilliant style. Sydney the 2012 Premiers - Gerard Whately ABC

One of the best games I've ever seen. With Geelong and St Kilda, I have a strong feeling that these teams will make up the composition of this September's Preliminary Finals.

I cannot understand how anyone cannot rate Judd. He is very bloody good.

An absolute cracker, with a shootout.

That was a choke of the highest order.

That last quarter was a cracker. And we've beaten them both.

Great game - very happy to have been at the ground. Must agree with ROK - Judd was superb, as were Roughead and Fevola.

The choking comments are most unfair to Fev, particularly given the two 50m goals he scored during the Carlton comeback.

also Carlton were ripped off by the Umps when a free was given too them and Franklin played on, the ump was next to him so he would have heard the call - but no 50 was given - the commentators were going right off about it. It was a fantastic game - Stevens played well for Carlton - but Roughead - how strong is he?, to me he is more consistent that Franklin (and not so much of a show pony either)

I used to be indecisive, but now I'm not so sure..................

Damn Carlton and all who sail on it. I picked them.

The Fweo/Budgie Crims game was a doozy as well.

Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones who let in the light.
