LOL - we had no clue what he said either - if anything we thought he sounded more irish and at least as puzzling as Tadgh ever did over the stadium speakers!
And very nice to see the cheer squad at the Paddington end were quick to switch flags - the maple leaf is far more aesthetically pleasing for swans games than the orange and green!

As for his performance, very solid we thought, and as a match up he can create some headaches on size alone. Five minutes to go and he put a copy book shepherd on a tiger forward to allow Shaw to clear easily (in front of Bay 2). He was so big all we could see was a skinny leg and an arm on the other side of him get bumped to the deck - was beautiful to behold! With a rugger background, you'll never seem him rag dolled out of the way like so many AFL players - and he'll never be afraid of taking a bump or three!
I'm rapt he's here - how gutsy to roll the dice and have a crack at a totally new ball game on the other side of the world. He has my best wishes for a long and successful career!
