With all the fumblers we have in the midfield the Bird's hands are very important. Last week both McVeigh and Kirk had handling problems and Jude has battled with same for his entire career. Any repeat against the cats will be disastrous.

He did his shoulder in the Freo match, but it could very well be classified back since he was bashed around in that match in his upper back too.

100% right Liz it was ribs but he also had a small problem with his knee and had a injection in it which has helped. If he trains tommorrow and pulls up ok hes back in or will be one more week
