Former Sydney Swans defender Andrew Schauble narrowly missed out on selection in the Club?s 2005 grand final team but he now knows the feeling of being a premiership player having recently won the inaugural Middle East AFL grand final with Dubai Heat by 8 points.
He knew what it was like long before that!
Thnaks for bringing that to out attention LK. Nice to see a kid in Swans gear in background of the pic too.
If the club could get him in some capacity he would add a further touch of class to our club. He can speak more than one language, he can conduct a civil conversation with a drunk old bag and he took the disappointments of 2005 with dignity.
The world would be a good place if there were more people like him around.
Schauble rates in my top 4 favourite Swans players..along with Kelly,Bird and Kirk. Looking at that list I realise none of them are stars in the accepted sense of the word but people who make the most of what they have got.
Andrew Schauble for P.M. or CEO of the Swans

Occupational hazards:
I don't eat animals since discovering this ability. I used to. But one day the lamb I was eating came through to me and ever since then I haven't been able to eat meat.
