Extra 2 teams

How does everyone feel about another two teams in the AFL.

Myself I dont think there are enough good players to bring in two more teams. I seen a lot of average players this season. I think it will bring down the standard of football.

Positive it will promote the game and make the AFL richer $$$$$$$$$$$$$

They'll keep expanding the comp until they have 24 teams, then they'll divide then into Divison 1 and 2, have a 22 round year where you play everyone in your division twice and have promotion/relegation of 2 or 3 spots. Whatever. I'm so over GC17 and WS18.

The dilution of the talent pool will be more than made up for by the extra players it attracts to the game. Think of all the little kids who are just starting to play sport that will pick AFL over union/league because they go for the GC or WS Whatevers.

More exposure = more people playing the sport = more talent.

It's a nice theory but I'd like to see the numbers on the number of players recruited by an AFL club coming from Greater Sydney and Brisbane since 1987.
