Sorry, I can't agree with White down back, dont think he is any good back there, better as a forward, Grundy is going to have to play down back this week, we have no other choice, maybe bring Currie in to play up forward with Bazza and MOL. Give Port Adelaide something to think about down back instead of us.

Motlop would eat Marty alive! I think the defensive side of Mattner is his weakest and isn't a particularly strong overhead mark. Bevan will go allright against Motlop.

      Richards - Ebert
      Bolton - Tredrea
      Bevan - Motlop
      Mattner - Gray

Bolton will swing to whoever is on fire but should start in Tredrea.

Tredders is in blistering form right now. It would be sending a lamb to the slaughter.
Yes, that was my first thought too - that game looked like it had set Jesse back about 3 seasons! My verdict: Bolton to Motlop, Richards to Tredrea. Ebert's a tuff match up but I don't think he's having a stellar year - could start with a Grundy and hope you don't get hurt. What will be tuff is if Lade & Brogan spend time upfront (and they usually do) - Roos appeared to use Goodes to track the ruckman down forward last week, will he try that again?

This is game plan2.Big Bazza will be on fire and be a headache for Port. MOL will always have his moments but I doubt if Port is too worried about anyone else. Whereas we rightly fear Tredrea,Motlop and Ebert as potential game breakers. With White or Currie (Sounds like he is close to ready) playing forward,we can give them something to think about. We could go real tall and have Moose as well in ruck.White or Currie plus Baz need to be fed however and fed well but Motlop can make something out of nothing. We play best when the half backs gain possession and run through the centre to deliver to the forwards.Shame they can't always put it on a chest or even in front of a forward but we have been there before! The more you think about it the more we seem to be evenly matched with Port Power! Could be a great game with the home crowd getting us over the line!

Have to disagree there. The kid is our best chance against Motlop. A couple of Bevantor specials early will really affect Motlops confidence. We can beat the speed of Port if we play them man on man and force them wide into the deep pockets. i assume we are playing at the scG. If Port get on top with their quick skillful midfield streaming down the park delivering silver service to Tredders and Motlop no doubt Bevo is going to have another shocker and civilization as we know it is over.

Tredrea has a rather BIG lemonade and sars.

Tredrea was brillant at the weekend, dont know if he cant keep up the good form, When teams run at Port they struggle, Richmond beat themselves last weekend, with unexperienced players.

I am not quite clear what you mean here.Do you mean a couple of stuff ups by Bevan will make Motlop supremely confident or a couple of crunching tackles will make him lose confidence. Both scenarios are equally possible with this kid who I like actually but not enough to play on Motlop.I have not changed my opinion that Bevan needs to be used as a hard tackling defensive forward who traps the ball in our forward 50 but can also crumb and kick straight when a set shot is there. The idea of him playing on Motlop is deja vu all over again from the Geelong game.

Rabbits Warren has had his one good game for the year. Stopping the Kracker Barrel will be a harder task?

OK, I didn't get the Ebert macth up right but otherwise, coaching staff are obviously listening to me.
