    Can't be worse than Buchanan's.

When Braba kicks 5 from the midfield he can take his spot.

Bit concerning that we are drafting kids who can't kick! Surely this would have been spotted at countless draft camps etc.

I was amazed he wasn't cut after 2 years, and have no idea how he managed to survive last year. What kills me is that better footballers like Faulks were boned while Braba stayed. The clincher was earlier this year - young Hannebury made Braba look like a hack in his first outing.

We should be watching some other kid developing, not the rubbish Brabazon dishes up year after year.

Sorry Royboy, Faulks was not good. He stood out in the first part of his career, improved a bit, and then he seemed to show he had little "game" sense.

Braba has got a bit better each year in every other department except his disposal. He is a good little general, he can marshal the troops, tell them where to go to really quite well, and then lets himself down with his own game. I feel sorry for the poor blighter. Its not that he doesn't try. He does. Its just that he doesn't get to the next level. It would seem the coaching staff recognise his effort and wanted him to make the transition, but his inner senior level footballer is not rising to the surface.

Brabazons at a point of his career where he should be dominating games in Canberra, not just show encouraging signs that will promote him. The ACT level is a fair bit below the AFL obviously and at his age decent games are not going to cut it, he needs to stand out and its not happening.

Apparently he played well last week so he needs to turn it on again and again and he may break in late season. If he fails to do this he's going home. If he gets a chance and fails to make an impact, he's going home.

At this point the cards are stacked heavily against him.

Wouldn't lose too much sleep over it. After that effort he is gone. 3 games and he's 22...if he was a KP fair enough, but he's not.

                  He ain't got "?t".

Faulks has been playing very well in the VFL for Casey Scorpions and has regularly been in the best.

I haven't caught any of the games on TV, but this is Melbourne's feeder team.

VFL form is not the be all end all, but we may have delisted the wrong player

Don't think so Will. Faulks used to just stand there far too often, like he wasn't really involved in the game. Annoyed me then. Braba would bounce around and be involved, maybe not effective but involved. So maturity may have something to do with it. The shock of being cut perhaps. We'll see.

But I am biaised. I used to watch ROK in the ressies, and he was always watching the state of play minutely. He never lost concentration. Its a very tough yardstick to live up to, but its the one I measure each of the ressies by.

In retrospect, it's a shame that 'Columbo' (Copyright ORB) wasn't given one more year given the fact that the ressies are no where near as dominant as they have been in years gone by. He would have seen a LOT more action this year and would have been a good yardstick to know whether he had a future at AFL level or not.

What, move down to Albury? He has already moved from W.A.

For the time he was on the ground on sun he seemed to keep his opponent in close check with them getting few disposals, perhaps that was his role. Game plan and SCG most probably didn't help his style of run and carry. Sun was very congested game and must remember it was only his 3rd game

I think they need to give him a run of games now and see if he can cut it at senior level.
