If you go back far enough, 4 or 5 years, you may also find that the same people who believe Eski needed a spell in the 2's (like me) were championing his cause from the moment he stepped a foot on the SCG in the reserves.

No good putting the head in the sand on Eski, he was sadly out of form and seriously down on confidence and needed a spell in the seconds to regain some touch. Whether one week is enough remains to be seen, but don't start the 'eat your own' garbage just because peeps call for somebody to be dropped.

Triple B, he makes a good point. One glaring indication of the successful sides are the stability of their side. The list of players so far this year who various posters have called to be dropped include LRT, Moore, Buchanan, Hall, Malceski, O'Keefe, Shaw, Bevan, as well as the odd one we want delisted. It's Round 9 and we are 4 and 4. Pretty much the same as in 2005-06. This constant calling for a scapegoat's head gets pretty tiresome.

Puppy, if that was he's point I'd agree with you.

However he appeared to put the peeps who had called for Malceski's head in the basket of 'constant baggers'.

I don't accept that. The majority of posters believed Eski needed a break for all the afore mentioned reasons and many of those posters, myself included, have NEVER called for the head of LRT or ROK as implied.

If the statement is meant to argue that too many posters want to drop too many players for barely good reason, then I agree with Vonsteinman 100%.
