Who put in a better effort today?

Personally my money's on the bear. Never gave up. Was much loved by all & sundry on the field. And had a bit of ticker in very hot conditions.

As for Port Adelaide. I seriously can NOT work them out. At times we strung forays up forward where not one Port player laid a finger on us. Do they seriously worry about defensive strategy at Alberton? At times in the first quarter it was like playing a basketball team!

Still Humphrey's effort can't be faulted! LOL

I agree totally about your Port Adelaide comments. In that first quarter their mistakes were fundamental, like a failure to man up. On the other hand, when I saw them back in February in Canberra they looked slick, passionate and highly organised. What happened?

Humphrey didn't get a lot of the ball either, but at least he showed heart when that Red Kite mascot started ribbing him

Plus he had a cool hat. Case closed.

We tried, that's what. Friends of mine out of the banner said they had never heard the players so loud and motivated in the tunnel before they ran out.

I think we know Port will never change their game plan again us. And that their small thin midfielders totally lose the plot when tackled & placed under pressure.

Port have no idea how to play the SCG - they'd do as well to forfeit this game each year if they're not prepared to change their game plan.

Missed Humphrey but glad to hear he showed some moxy - he can't be young you know?

You are mistaken. This is Humphrey Junior - our father and son pick.

Maybe it was having Humphrey in the wings ready to pouce if any player did not earn their spot on the day that motivated everyone to run harder , play smarter.

Will Humphrey be at all pre match to keep that key focus -eye on the Honey !

Should have included Cyggy in this. He got a kick!
