    Tadhg to come back??

Hutchy just dropped the news on the Footy Show that if things work out with Tadhg playing for County Kerry (honouring his father's wishes): they have to win the next four games then he would consider coming back to AFL. Apparently he is still on the Swans list, and they remain in touch with him.

After 3 years of harping on about going home to the Emerald Isle, now it seems the harping is underway about a return to the Emerald city. Is it a case of..'The grass always seems greener' , for Tadhg ?
What ever the reason, he's more than welcome!

He'll come back in time to roam the backline with Leo. Timing is everything ..

Depends. How have his shoulders been recently?

If he's still on our list and his body can handle it, I'd be happy for him to come back if it meant it would buy us a bit more time while we re-build, though I wouldn't expect him to unless he really wanted to!

              He's only 27 years old.
Shoulder recons can take 6-12 months to get over if rehabed properly (that would mean not subjecting them to the riggors of AFL footy prematurely).
There is a fair chance that he could come back far better than when he left if the round ball game is a little gentler on his shoulders (and with no tackling and less overhead stuff, that should be the case).
So if he did come back, we might get another 4-5 years out of him. Imagine the run of Kenelly, Shaw, Mattner and Malceski out of defence.

The All Ireland elimination series starts on 27 June. If Kerry are defeated in the first round they play off in early July. If they keep winning the All Ireland final is on the 20th September at Croke Park. Kennelly played yesterday in the last Kerry selection trial. The squads haven't been announced yet but given that he was induced to break his contract by Kerry officials its highly unlikely he won't be picked. So what was this arse clowns story? Kennelly won't be selected? Highly unlikely? Kerry will be eleiminated in the qualifiers? Unlikely and then Kennelly will come back? That couldn't happen until late July. If Kerry win their way through (of which they are supremely confident) he plays till late September. So he won't back, if ever until next season,as a 28 year old Hutchy? Big.

Would be great if he won and then came back. Players of his class don't grow on trees.

Imagine Kennelly, Shaw, Mattner, Eski all playing halfback/wing!!
