Even old father Sheahan says Hall gets poor treatment from umpires.

It really sucks that the AFL allows this to happen. No player should expect different treatment than any other.

There aren't different rules, so what exactly are the umpires interpreting, if not personal bias?

The West Sydney venture is cloud cuckoo stuff anyway, and with the focus up here on NRL refereeing stuff ups, umpiring bias in the AFL will be a(nother) nail in the West Sydney coffin (assuming they can even get any blood flow in the body)!

I suppose you condone the baiting that ignites retaliation then?

          Huh? Unconfuse us!

Are you saying that Hall's conduct towards the umpires was out of line? If so, I'm tipping you're pretty far out on a limb on your own on that one!

            I noticed that. Very surprised.

No surprise that Hirdy's hate for Sydney had him barely able to spit out anything supportive of Hall!

Love Hirdy (as much as one can an opposition player), but I think he still carries some baggage from the 96 prelim!

He does look a bit like he's sucking a lemon when he talks about Sydney. The best he could say (in support of Hall) was that some of the other forwards suffer the same lack of frees - e.g. Brown and even Franklin.

Hird didn't even mention the poser at St.Kilda, Nick Riewoldt who gets looked after the most by the Umps?

no ... but if you don't get a bite, you don't waste your time, and BBBB is the greatest sucker of all time! ... when did you last see anyone try to "bait" Kirky ??? ... never, because he's too busy dragging himself to the next contest to be sucked into that rubbish.

Barry Hall is a fool who's time is past ... and all the arm waving and pointing in the world will not change the way the umpires crucify him week in week out ... it's not like it just started last week! ... he is a liability, a poor example to kids who follow the game, and fails the "no d***head policy".

My kids love him. They also love MOL and Goodes and LRT (4 players who pretty much stand out) but they love Baz the most because he is big and tough and entertaining. Sydney need Baz's identity - no one captures the imagination quite like big bloke.

OF COURSE IT WAS ... THE UMPIRES ARE ALWAYS RIGHT!

... someone tell me the last time a player argued with an umpire and got the decision changed ...

the decision WAS wrong, but it was never going to be changed, so why keep on antagonising these guys who already are biased against you????

As Roosy said, it's nothing new, and he has spoken to the umpires about it a thousand times ... they aren't changing, simple as that

                            The last time Gichrist walked.
