Maybe brand them "The Non - Victorion, South Australian, Western Australian, Northern Territory, Queensland, tasmanian and Sydney Swans Rams".
It's all in the name, isn't it? They're going to have their work cut out trying to come up with a suitable name, especially as Demetriou has refused to guarantee the words "western sydney" will be included.

What about just calling them something like "The Wanderers" . No identity and clearly willing to play whereever the support or the money dictates.

Otherwise "The Western NSW/ACT Rams excluding anywhere west of the blue mountains".

I still like the Blacktown Bogans.

        So does Sheeds!!
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.

A suit of flannellette? Something like Happy Hammonds superb sartorial splendor? Come to think of it where is Happy when the clowns are being sent in? Every other has been and blast from the past has been trundled out for this fiasco.

Paul Keating will show up sooner or later to put his 2 cents in, although I don't think we'll see him wearing a Plaid suite.

              Catastophe Theory

Originated by the French mathematician Rene Thom in the 1960s, catastrophe theory is a special branch of dynamical systems theory. It studies and classifies phenomena characterized by sudden shifts in behavior arising from small changes in circumstances.

Catastrophes are bifurcations between different equilibria, or fixed point attractors. Due to their restricted nature, catastrophes can be classified based on how many control parameters are being simulataneously varied. For example, if there are two controls, then one finds the most common type, called a "cusp" catastrophe. If, however, there are move than five controls, there is no classification.

Catastrophe theory has been applied to a number of different phenomena, such as the ability of the Custard Pies to continually beat the Swans, the impact of the new franchise - West Sydney Lebanese Bikers on the AFL, and why the Rhesus Monkey is prone to rotor virus.

The Western Walers - after the horses that carried the mounted infantry to Beersheba? Potential nice link with the Light Horse interchange.

He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)
