One one word for Mick, "Legend" .

Its been a bloody joy watching him, imagine how good he reallly could of been if it wasnt tendonitis in those knees.

If ever a player deserves a milestone its him, and our club and needs this milestone in its history. Looking forward to his 300 ,whilst it would be nice here in Melbourne , hoping its in Sydney at the SCG after a win.

True Champion for the Swans and he could play on one leg and still be better than some on the list.

All of a sudden I'm in the camp that believes the Swans should blood youth at all costs. Sentimentality is a luxury the Swans can't afford anymore. Time to make some tough decisions. I don't think that anything is to be accomplished by carrying Micky O through the rest of the season.

He'll cramp our forward potency and be at the expense of a young kid. It?s a lose lose.

No sentimentality. Just respect and the privilege of seeing a passionate, gifted and brilliant footballer emerge from the shy under-rated kid that desperately missed his family. He found another family up here with us. And we will send him off in a way that befits a champion. I was lucky enough to see Skilton. And Magic.

Micky O just interviewed on 3aw. I have never heard him speak so much.

He said he will stay in Sydney as he has work to do with the indigenous community. His wife's family is from here.

His son James is 1 yrs old. Just 17 years left for Father Son.

He has moved on from the tears of this afternoon and I think we might see some real magic from him before the end of the season, now that the retirement issue is off his back.

I am such a sook......tears running down my face at that press conference. A player who has given me an awful lot of magic moments as a spectator.

Always been one of my favourites. He has got superb sublime skills. There are a very large number of his swift, skillful handballs called throws only because the maggot could not comprehend it was physically possible for Magic to squeeze the ball out as quickly as he did.

Sad to see him go, but I'm really pleased he's leaving at the end of this year and not trying to go one more season. That way he'll be remembered as the champion he is.

Thank you for all the memories, those special moments that you have provided over the last 15 years. You have experienced the lows with the club and the ultimate high in 2005! You are what club loyalty and dedication is all about.

Micky 'O' you will be missed!
