Granted, and I wasn't complaining about his game, I still believe he's one of the few that actually stands up and gives all, along with Kirk and Goodes, who was obviously in distress toward the end of the game thru sheer physical exhaustion

I think he had a pretty sound game and its not built on cheap, Geelong-style possessions. The only really poor moments were his kicks out of D50 to Magpie players loitering around the wing - but he does have a really offensive mindset compared to most of his teammates.

He won't if the deal can be done to give him another crack at a premiership. Perhaps Rossy Lyon can do us a nice little trade this time.

Matt Maguire may be availabe for trade as he can't get a game at St Kilda (todays Sun Herald)and is tearing them up in the two's.He's 25 so I'd reckin he'd be a fair trade for ROK who I'd hate to see go.

I agree but we should get a bit more as ROK is playing in firsts. Would certainly help the defence.

I'm not so sure, considering he signed for 4 years and stood in front of his team mates to say he was committed to the club.

I also doubt he would want to go through all of that uncertainty again. Imagine if the same thing happened!

There is no way Matt Mcguire is worth a trade for ROK. ROK is an All Australian, had 41 touches on the weekend for a near best on ground performance. Probably be in the AA squad this year.

McGuire is an injury prone defender who cant even crack StKilda's best 22. No way thats a fair trade.

I don't think there is any way he'll get into the AA squad. But I agree with rest of your post. An injury prone 25 year old defender playing in reserves....Yeah that's just we need.

Yeah maybe a bit optimistic but if he continues his form from the last month he is probably a fair chance.

If his last 10 games are as good as his last month, he'll certainly get in the squad.
