Hi There, any word on the squad for the reserve game this weekend? Are Orreal and Murphy playing?
Reserves v Eastlake

Orreal and Murphy both played last week so there isn't any news to suggest that they won't be playing this week.
PREVIEW
Swans Reserves v Eastlake
28th June 2pm
Manuka Oval
2nd) Eastlake 7W 2L 2D 155.37%
5th) Swans 3W 7L 1D 71.18%
Recent History
R2 Swans 11.9 (75) Eastlake 27.13 (175) ANZ
R8 Swans 16.10 (106) Eastlake 16.10 (106) SCG (Cracker of a game)
Possible team list
The Swans play the day after the seniors so it is possible that all 3 emergencies will be available, assuming they aren't called into action on Saturday- 4. Dan Hannebery IN - (School holidays I believe?)
- 8. Dan O'Keefe (Concussed at the last game but not on the injury list)
- 9. Nick Malceski
- 10. Dan Currie IN - (Didn't play last week but off the injury list)
- 20. Luke Ablett (Senior emergency)
- 33. Jarred Moore IN - (Dropped from the seniors)
- 36. Tim Schmidt IN - (Off the injury list - fingers crossed)
- 38. Mike Pyke (Senior emergency)
- 41. Brendan Murphy (limited minutes last week)
- 43. Matt O'Dwyer (Senior emergency)
- 44. Jake Orreal
- 46. Taylor Gilchrist
Nathan Gordon was the only scholarship player to play last week. RBN played for the NSW/ACT Rams last week, and while I don't have a team list, the Rams lost to SA today and it is likely RBN was involved.
Outs
Patrick Veszpremi (Seniors promotion)
Ryan Brabazon (Seniors promotion)
Two big outs there, with Veszpremi the main goalkicker last week, kicking 4 of the 6 and Brabazon our most prolific midfielder this year earning 8 nominations in the best list. However, this is balanced by 4 possible big ins, all of whom have starred in the reserves in the past at one time or another. Murphy will again be on limited minute due to his injury comeback as will Schmidt if he plays.
Ablett, Malceski, Moore, Hannebery and Schmidt will form as good a midfield as we have seen in recent times. Pyke/Currie/Orreal to rotate through the ruck and in the key forward posts.
Prediction
Eastlake have cooled off somewhat after their hot start to the year, being upset by Ainslie last week. The Swans have struggled badly away from home, partly due to the poor quality of topups provided. Defence is still a major problem with only Murphy holding up a KP post. I can't see them keeping Eastlake to a low enough score for the team to win. -

Vespa back (and elevated), Murphy, Currie back, DOK and Pyke OK, Schmidt possibly back.
Maybe the football gods are done with their vendetta against young Swans.

Yes please, if poss, keep us posted. the ressies are our future.
Good luck to Schmidt he deserves better than what the gods have handed out to him. Also to Skull Murphy, I saw the shoulder injury and I thought he was going to give up, he looked shattered, I would love to see him progress. If you've never jumped from one couch to the other to save yourself from lava then you didn't have a childhoodComment

Still not as big a margin as Carlton, we can take solace in that!I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his timeComment
