    Will Roos keep his promise?

Roosy said a few weeks ago that if we lose the Pies and Crows games he would start to look at next year?

I thought while the endeavor was there the level of skill was not by some of the key players. Will he play all the kids and give them some game time for next season?

Bevan, Crouch, Grundy, LRT made lots of mistakes or look slow.

Who should we expect to see in coming weeks?

Unfortunately all the 'kids' are injured! Someone earlier in the week suggested we pull Dan Hannebery out of school. I'm thinking it's a good idea.

I think todays game was the start of the changes.
Everyone who was fit in younger brigade was given a go.
They will need a few more games to see if they can get up to speed and become regular players.
We just don't have any young guys with spark !
Bird made a few shocking decisions today from early on.
They need 6 - 7 games to see if they are worth carrying into 2010.

The senior players carried the group again today. Rare glimpses of form for new kids.

There is always next week to get hopes up again

Especially for the matches to be played in Vic, maybe they could do a nice deal with his school to let him play those matches (and train during school holidays).

Put more games into either Pyke or Currie, White has done well in a stop-gap ruckman role but he must now be nurtured as a key position player, whether up forward or down back.

Why Jude? He's probably leading the B&F this year. Our midfield would have no grunt without him and Kirky.

I think he's played all the available kids.

The idea of trading Jude is ridiculous he has been one of our best players this year and along with Goodes Kirk O'Keefe and Mcveigh carry the team every week.

The reason for Jude is because we wont win a flag in the next 3 years and thats all he has left in him so lets get a draft pick??
Lets look to 4-6 years down the road

As my sig will attest, I'm an unabashed fan, but without the solid training base that is associated with playing AFL, I would resist the temptation to 'have a look' at him.

There is absolutely no doubt he will be with us in the years to come, so use the opportunity to getting games into others who may or may not be our future rather than risk injury to a future gun.

Just not worth the risk IMO.

By that logic we'd better trade C.Bolton ROK and Goodes as well as they're all about the same age.

Young players will learn from Goodes and C Bolton our best player Goodes by a long Mile and C Bolton by far our best defender.

But if they did at least Roos has a plan, we seem to be going knowhere quickly atm
