      Is that any better?

BTW, by the looks of a lot of the threads of late, there will be a lot of 1 and 2 votes. It's been like reading a Richmond forum.

        Thanks GS14

I reckon the opposite. People only get upset if they care.

I need a "not as much as I used to" or "I mostly love them for the stats" option.

I opted for 6, but it may be a 7. Hard to say, but it's one of those.
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

We should perhaps run a poll for "How much did you love the Swans?" as well!

I voted "8" meaning no matter how bad they go I won't give up my membership to the club or the CS because I'd then be bored out of my mind in winter.

                        Good question!!

It's hard to quantify, I'd never put my love for the Swans ahead of my family but I think it's the little things that remind you of why you support the club (and the sport) even when the team isn't having the greatest time on-field. Like Reg's screamer against Port, the raw emotion shown by young Kieren Jack when he celebrated the winner against the Eagles... it's the feeling of ownership that comes when you watch the guys play week in, week out. I think Des said this once but it's the moment you go from thinking 'them' to 'we'.

And even when we're "rebuilding", the losses still hurt, and the wins are to be savoured. Had about 4 hours sleep the night before the Freo game last year yet still went to the SCG even though it was the Dockers(!!) and we were both struggling (I think I need my head checked!!), but it was worth it just for the finish.

That said, I'll live if I miss the occasional game -- it's just not realistic these days to expect to be able to go to every game with the demands and responsibilities that come from being an adult with a 'regular' social life (oh, to be a kid again!) -- and might not post on RWO as often -- so best put me down for a 7, then.

I'm a bit disappointed there is no twelvety option.

Not voting on this one crabs. Currently me and the love of me life are blueing and somewhat estranged. Over one of the kids.
