    Very true. It may also explain partially at least why Sydney's fortunes fell after 2006. Older players like Fosdike, Crouch, Matthews, even Kennelly, may well have been going strong if Dave Milson was still at the Swans. We all have to blame some very posh private school in Melbourne who made Mrs Milson an offer she could not refuse.

      Cracker of a game, with Leo Barry-style speccie right on the death. Good to see the Saints get up, though it gives the Cats more incentive to win when they meet inevitably in September.

        I thought that was ironic considering Gardiner's performance in that grand final! It's amazing how football has a knack of offering players a shot at redemption, even a few seasons down the track...
