    Jim Stynes battles cancer

I was surprised that no-one had started a thread to wish the big man well with his battle with cancer,

Good luck Jim, beat the big "C" and get back to leading the club you love, next season and beyond.

having been through the same battle myself last year i know what he's about to go through. It's a very scary time and i wish him and his family all the very best to get through it

They certainly did that. Great win filled with emotion. Just what the Dees needed.

Cheerz mate. Yeah, all good now. Been 10 months in remission. Still have another four years before all clear but confident all will be good.

Heard a commentator say after the Dees won on the weekend that you can never underestimate the role of emotion in the game when it's channelled properly. Was great to see them get up, hope Jim makes a full recovery!
