We gave the big fella a great send off today. Every one stood as one, including the essendon mob. He was a bit of a mess by the time he reached the Noble Stand. A good mess tho. He would realise how much he was recognised and appreciated and dare I say it, Loved.

So the Grand Final the next week had nothing to do with the club's response in 2005. Right.

Also it still does not negate the fact that Hall was the architect of his own demise. Unfortunately we have become a society of blame where we don't take responsibility for our own actions anymore. We seem to always try to blame others. To Halls credit he hasn't done that and for that he should be commended.
What i saw today was a humiliated former premiership captain. And a club that has lost the plot. Defending the indefensible is not being a good supporter.

Unfortunately I am on holiday overseas at the moment so I missed big Bazzas sendoff. I still and forever will think the Club hung him out to dry, and it could have been handled a lot better and without humilitiating a great player for the Swans who loved the Club and gave his all. If you watched the AFL Footy Show on Thursday night, the crowd loved him and he was so humble, and I personally don't think his indiscretions on the field were so bad that he deserved to fall on his sword for it.

Well I cried like a baby before he even came out in the ute. Oh the sadness of it.
Totally flattened me. I struggled to get into the game and I think the team all felt the same.

Paul Kelly certainly wasn't happy with the decision to let Hall go prematurely.

Barry being driven around the scg in tears certainly painted a sad image. Probably how I'll remember him - I'm sure the reality of his situation has hit home.

In a nutshell. You have expressed exactly what I have been trying to say but not as concisely as this. Especially his body language of relief. Thanks Big Al.

Often employees who have been badly treated or victimized presnt as having being releived that the nightmare is over. If a person is being humiliated they naturally want it to end. And this is indicative of what? Can anyone seriously suggest after what they saw yesterday that Hall left of his free will?

Kelly raises the poiint. Was the insertion of financial penalties in the contract raised by the club? If not why not?

                              Obviously I agree with Kelly
Sad that there aren't more here who agree with Kells & I

Interested to hear those who have all been so elated to rid the team of Hall come out and pick through Kelly's points and disagree with what he's saying
