Malceski has completely lost it. What a shame.

I still believe Malceski will come back better after another preseason.

It was about as I expected.
Good to see the younger guys getting a game and they all showed glimpses of what they are capable of.
I thought the effort was there but they looked like a team that need more time together to to play team football rather than just bombing and hope.

Liked Vespremi, Barlow,Bevan, thought N Smith did ok, Grundy, Bird.

Agree Ablett and maybe Crouch need to be dropped.

All in all just happy we are playing some kids and getting game time into them

Is it a hope - or a belief?

Yeah, players on their last legs. White and DOK need to play next week. Add a bit more options up forward, and it will allow LRT and Richards to move back. We pretty much won that last quarter (based on score), which was a result of LRT and Richards shifting back. Veszpa was very good, Barlow, Smith, Bird, Jack were all good as well. We need more of the youngsters. Also need to tighten up.

Well, I expected an effort at least as good as last week....with close to the same line up to work with FFS....this was appalling and unforgiveable. End of an era once and for all that is for sure....

I agree with you, though its very hard when you lack a key forward. Again, we need a couple of forwards in there, and Pyke needs to play in the ressies and needs a pre-season before coming to play for us again. Looked lost, and doesn't have good skills which is what we need.

Only listening on the radio - will watch a replay when a torrent is uploaded - only because it is the worst game I have heard!

                      2 things -

                      1. Emotions must be running high. Wonder how much influence this has had and will have iin the next few weeks.

                      2. The coaching decisions were horrific. LRT and Richards forward. McVeigh out, Pyke in???? At the late stage the change was made you'd have to be looking like for like....there were a multitude of absolute howlers throughout.

The longer Roos goes on the more I think we owe our premiership to Lyons.

Hopefully that was rock bottom....but I doubt it.

Still a premiership captain, despite this mate. Remember that.

I only watched the first half, but what I noticed was that they looked pretty flat and they were missing a lot of tackles. Lost count of how many times Essendon players broke weak tackles.

Under the circumstances, if Roos plays Crouch and Ablett next week, he is a @@@@wit. They were both next to useless from what I saw. Ablett was a non-participant. Crouch's disposal was substandard.

However, I have a horrible feeling another nextgen will be dropped and Buchanen will get a gig.

I agree with the previous post re Lyons and Roos.
He had observed that people who did lie were, on the whole, more resourceful and ambitious and successful than people who did not lie.
