    Good changes.

That's got to be the tallest forward line in the league.

Maybe but you lose a fair bit of their run. Normally I'd be happy to see Crouch out but I reckon this is one of the few games that you could make a strong case for him to be in the side.
On current form - and I'm a fan of him - I think Malceski deserved to be dropped ahead of those two.

Those are the best 3 outs we've had all year!

And I'm very excited about eski finally being named in the backline.
Not because he's a good defender, but that's where he's always played his best football as a rebounding defender.

lets hope that's where he plays
        Ed Considine's day out - Round 3, 16th April 1995.
11 Kicks, 13 Handballs, 8 Marks, 1 Goal, 1 Behind, 1 Tackle, 1 Hitout, 3 Brownlow votes (his only votes)

Think either Bevo or Crouchy still may play.
Bevo easily before Crouchy , very suprised that Malceski holds his spot.

Really happy we are showing some balls and playing a kid though.,really hope
Hannebery can show something Saturday. Really looking forward to having a good look at him and seeing jesse white back in the side.

Very good changes, aside from the odd persistence with Malceski.

I think Malceski is one that we need to persist with.
He is still quite young, and is definitely part of our future.

It's been proven that time in the reserves isn't doing him any good, he dominates.

I think Roos is doing the right thing, as he needs to recapture the form we all know he is capable of at senior level.
I believe a major part of this will be playing him in the position where he made his name.

We have to play Mal. If we want to see him back to his best, he needs more senior time, not ressies where he will kick 4 goals and get 50 possies. I've noticed that he has changed his kicking style, and has lost alot of penetration in his kicks. Needs to be bold and take the game on. Needs to start tackling more, get rid of those nerves he has regarding his knee.
Bevan was rubbish and deserved to go out. Crouch was rubbsh as well, and keeping davey quite was not a big achievement seeing as his recent form has been average.
Good young team out there, and if we can beat Carlton, I'll be very happy.

Totti, Totti, Totti. You said it all with Malceski. Can't kick, can't run, refuses to tackle, soft as Greek cheese and hasn't taken the game on since Moses played full back for the Sinai Seconds. Sure we hope that he gets back his mojo but again we have a player who gets a game on something other than form.

I didn't think Bevan was our worst last week and certainly I have not been one of his biggest fans, but strewth he was head and shoulders above what was a miserable Malceski last week. How he can hold his position on the insipid form he has displayed this season is beyond my comprehension. I am staggered at my own astonishment that he has kept his place.

First thought on seeing the team was "wow that looks pretty good".
Malceski in form is clearly best 22 - but in form is not where he's at - is this last chance?
Bevo is a bit mysterious but maybe Jack will take Betts?
Strap in should be an interesting ride.

Did Jarad Moore play in the reserves last week? How come he is not playing?

He could play back pocket and do better than Malceski who by the way scored the lowest supercoach points on the ground last week. He continues to be in the bottom few week in week out.

I think we need to use the Hall of Fame dinner as an opportunity to re-introduce the passion back into the side. Melbourne successfully harnessed the emotion associated with Jim Stynes' illness a couple of weeks ago and it's led to a mini-revival... we have looked a bit flat recently and this could be the spark for us to try and finish off the season strongly, even if we don't make finals. The inclusions we've named this weekend give us a great opportunity to do this IMO

No doubt Bevo's being sent to Duntroon for officer training, for his future Captaincy.

Wow, I didn't think Roosy had it in him, though I'm surprised Bevan got dropped before Malceski.
