Worry is that we have worked so much harder than the Blues that we should be further ahead on the scoreboard. Can we keep it up?

On the other hand, the work is being spread quite evenly - it hasn't been a case of Kirk, Goodes, Bolton, O'Keefe and McVeigh doing all the hard work with no support.

Impressed with that half from both Barlow and Smith. Barlow in particular looks focussed, intelligent with the ball and is getting into the right spots. Smith is showing a calm head and using the ball intelligently.

Hannebury looks like he belongs. Obviously not a heap of it, but doesn't look at all over awed.

I can only listen to the radio. Anyone watching able to give an idea how the kids are going?

      EDIT: Thanks Liz.

I second that Liz. It only takes a small run from the Blues to completely destroy the game and i question if we have what it takes to put them to the sword.

Need a enigma like Goodes or Veszpremi to turn the game on it's head and not give the Blues a sniff.

Good half, good game. Liking Shaw, he's great when there is no pressure on him. Even saw him kick-in quick once (fell over at that).

Great first half. White on fire up forward. Where has he been hiding this all season.

Come on guys! Keep it up!

Pretty happy with that first half, not great but lots of effort.

Jesse White is obviously the big bonus for the day - he looks great as a lead up forward but not so good in a pack. The SCG might not be a great ground for him - I hope I'm wrong.

Teddy making mistakes as is Mattner but the bonus is the young blokes. Smith has been VERY good imho as has Jack (is he still a young'un?), Barlow's kicking is very precise today. Goodesy doing a bit around the ground as is Kirk and O'Keefe.

                  Fab four my arse.

                    Ok,
Smith - brilliant, great kicking, great tagging job on betts (smashing him), has been very very good.
Hanneberry - Very good. Hasn't got alot of it, but when he has, his disposal has been very good, works very hard, and a tough nut.
Veszpa - Not alot, but tackling very hard, and is trying hard. If he can find the ball more he will be awesome.
White - AWESOME, great marking ability, needs to tweak his kicking, but I think we have found our new Hall.
Barlow - Very good. Playing very well. Kicking has been good.
Bird, Jack, etc playing very well, especially jack who is just awesome.
Oh and Ablett is having a pretty good game as well. Bevan's decision making has let him down at times.

All the younger guys have been awesome. Bright, Bright future.

I also reckon we started to play better once LRT went back to defense and Kirk can direct play better now that he doesn't have to baby sit Hall.

Magic picks it up at half back. It's all happening.
