just wanted to post a thread asking if any members had experienced a similar problem as myself and a friend at Club Swans?
Went down from Newcastle last weekend for a long weekend, staying at the Cross around the corner from Club Swans. Went to club both Friday and Saturday night. Very nice food, waiters, environment, however the two men who manned the front desk had no idea what was happeing with the footy team (meaning if players were coming back Sat after game, even where Sydney Swans were playing) it was very strange and very poor public relations. On the Saturday night we nearly missed the players who returned to the club after match because the front desk person didnt know who, where or what. I have eyes and failed to see any signage, I also am not back in coming forward and tried to get as much information as possible. Other than that we did enjoy ourselves just abit peeved at the lack of knowledge.
Any others had this experience? Thank you
