    Kennelly...

In a pre-match radio interview with James Brayshaw and co. Roosey was asked if the "rumour" of Tadhg coming back for next season was true.

Roosey said he hadn't discussed it with Tadhg, but if he was interested the Swans would consider it.

    Tralee: Kerry v Sligo, 5.00pm

They meet for only the second time in championship history and for the first time since 1975 when Kerry beat Sligo by 3-13 to 0-5 in the All-Ireland semi-final in a game where John Egan scored 2-2 and Pat Spillane 1-1 for the runaway winners.

Mike McCarthy (pictured) has been included in the Kerry team at centre-back for the GAA All Ireland Round Three Qualifier clash with Sligo in Tralee on Saturday.

As expected, Tadhg Kennelly has failed to recover in time from a broken finger.

Walsh will be hoping that his team can reproduce the form they showed in the Connacht semi-final defeat to Galway. Kerry will be wary of the Yeats men, especially after their poor performance against Roscommon last week.

    Kerry: D Murphy; M O S?, T Griffin, T O?Sullivan; T O S?, M McCarthy, A O?Mahony; D O
    S?, S Scanlon; P Galvin, D O?Sullivan, D Walsh; C Cooper, T Walsh, S O?Sullivan.

    Verdict: Kerry

And they won 14-13, so his dream is still alive.

Has to be a chance to return.

Do we know how many games Kerry have to get through to make the final?

            That was Round 3.

So Round 4, Quarters, Semis then Final.

Thanks, still with a shot but could be beyond Kerry this year.

Kerry beat Dublin 24-7 and they're now into a semi-final. Dream well and truly alive.

Not for me. We've got more value from Shaw this year than we have from Kennelly in his last few years.

And I hope we get more value from Jesse next year than we've got from Baz recently, too.

You can't look back. Or you can - isn't that why we got Plugger back for his rather sad Swan song?

Sound like Roosy would love to have tiger back.

Also good to see he wants to persist with eski. Would hate to lose him to another club knowing what he is capable of.

                        Good article.
I'm really glad that Roos hasn't lost faith in Eski (not that he would anyways).
