    2009 Leading Goalkicker

Hally has been our leading goalkicker for the past 7 seasons. Can he be again even though he's pulled the plug not long after the halfway mark? Or will he be overtaken by the end of Round 22? Can Micky O finish with a wet sail? Will Jesse go berserk? Or will Goodesy trickle over the line? I'm thinking the latter, but I wouldn't be surprised if it isn't B Hall for the 8th year in succession.

I had this crazy concept of posting a poll but I'm afraid I just don't have the technological nous.

Goodes will overtake him in the last game or two I reckon.

Goodes to lift significantly. He'll grab the bag for this year AND secure additional Brownlow points.

Yes, well, that could happen - if he actually takes marks for the rest of the season. Its been a groanful time recently.

I think Mick could have a breakout being his last chance to shine.

It really depends on the structure. If Goodes plays forward alot he will get it no worries. Can't see MickyO getting there. White is a long way behind...if he get's 10 this week then....

I'd be disappointed if 31 was enough for leading goal kicker.

current top 5 swan's goal kicking table:

              Barry Hall 31
              Adam Goodes 24
              Michael O'Loughlin 14
              Darren Jolly 13
              Ryan O'Keefe 11

5 rounds to go? I think goodes will do it.

I didn't realise White already had 9. If he averages 4 a game for the last 6 round he could get there. Big ask considering the opposition, but if he has big games against the D's and Tigers...who knows?

Looks as though Goodesy has it in the bag now. Not the lowest total for our leading goalkicker since the relocation but it might go pretty close.
