A terribly scrappy first quarter. Yes we have a few inexperienced players but the Dees have way more and we should be doing better. I don't see us losing from here, but don't expect an impressive win either...

Worst quarter of the year that I've 'witnessed'. I don't just mean involving the Swans-- I mean with anyone. Admit that I haven't seen most of Melbourne and Freo's games, though.

If I were Roos I'd be scorching the grass. The skill errors we've come to expect. But the 80%-intensity, near-enough-is-good-enough, stand-around-and-expect-someone-else-to-do-it attitude is a bit of a new one for the Bloods; especially in the 1st quarter.

Liam Jurrah did make the quarter worth watching somewhat, though. Albeit he hasn't converted one yet.

The skill level from both teams has been pretty average. At least Mattner on Jurrah has been entertaining! If only Bruce were calling this game
