    Nick Smith

I'm really liking this youngster's disposal. Still a way to go before we'll know his true potential but is starting to show that important blend of natural judgement, accuracy and effectiveness on his kicks and passes.

Definitely like Smiffy. Cool head, cool disposal, cool all round. Long term keeper I think

Agree, I thought he was one of our better players last wek.

I'm always reserved in my judgement on youngsters that come out in blazing in their first few games. Whilst its great to sit there and think 'what if they only get better from here' it very rarely happens.

Smithy's not one of these players. He's got that balance. Hopefully this means hehis build is consistent.

Poise is an apt description of this kid. He's going to be a good player for us in the coming years

Having gone to the game, I can say that I was very impressed with Hanners. He's only slight yet, but he put his body on the line, used the ball well, won the contested possessions and was simply very, very impressive. I don't know how well the TV footage caught it, but some of his work in close was magnificent. He looked very well adjusted to the game. And BOY does he run!

I agree, he was very impressive, seems to have the whole package for a midfielder...good in close, gets his own ball, has good disposal skills and excellent endurance.
Smith was also very impressive, obviously gained plenty of confidence from last week and went harder at it today, made good decisions with good disposal.
Jesse White struggled today but I hope he was taking note of ol' Mick and his dodgy knees..chasing down multiple Dees defenders, fantastic perseverance on a day he too didn't see much ball. Great stuff Mick!

Smith has impressed me this year. Looks like he belongs. Considering how god awful I thought he was last year, that's a significant turn around.
