                True but most winners in recent times have come from teams that have been fairly high on the ladder, so winning games certainly helps.

                        Mind you, I saw a headline in theage today about players tampering with umpires votes. Before I opened the article I was sure it was going to be about Goodes getting votes in Geelong last year...

                                            See Goodes racking up at least 400 games...which as far as I see equates to 5 Brownlow's...don't know who you get to do your stats, but I would suggest looking elsewhere.
