    Kieren Jack

The way Jack has been playing the past few weeks it looks like the spirit of Kirk, Kelly and Stewie has resurfaced. How good was that rolling maul in front of the Tiger goal with Cometti saying "I think this is going to end badly" just before Jack just pushed the ball through and clear and kicked the goal?

It didn't end badly for the Swannies Dennis.

There just doesn't seem to have been much discussion of a player who has been good but now seems to have absolutely arrived.

    Hmmm.

I really like Kieran Jack. I think he needs to be a bit more consistent, although he looks much improved to me.

looking the goods but his field kicking has to be alot more consistent.

Absolutely beautiful mover though. How good was his play when he roved off a marking contest, handballed to magic who kicked to Jesse's strong lead.

Very, very good in the last few weeks. Me thinks we have a star here in the mould of Judd, Ablett etc etc. His skills are silky, very hard at it, made Cousins look second rate on a few occasions on Sunday afternoon.

Agreed, except for the Judd/Ablett bit. Not quite that good, but a star in the making.

            Cracker!
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)

There were a couple of plays against the saints and tigers where he attacked the ball fiercely... and with control. I think he is developing into a very good player.

I think Keiran took a bit of a while to work out that playing his own game worked just fine, he didn't have to be anyone else. He is a smart bloke, and he has developed that 360 twist which he pretty much owns.

ive been overseas for 6 weeks n come back to see Jack, MOD, Hannebery, Grundy, white, nick smith etc playing good footy.

I can tell you 6 weeks ago Jack was always a decent player but the others weren't rated at all. Funny how quickly things change in just a month n a half of a footy...

He has definitely turned a corner....just his awareness and decision making in the last few weeks has been very good. Previously has been just plainly beaten and bewildered by the contest with snippets of potential....

He really took Cuz on on the weekend...and gave him a very hard time.

We are going to have some very good players coming to their peak together in the next 3-4 yrs. All looks good to me!!!

He is very strong in the legs which shows through in his tackling and ability to break free from tackles - he's also a pretty good kick.

Playing on all the 'guns' he has this year will help him immensely like McVeigh when he started.

Its quite a contrast to how we were first introduced to him when he played against NM. He looks a very appealing prospect, and I hope to see more of his attacking qualities in games

I read it as Denis saying it was going to end badly for the Tigers. And it did.
I took it as a wrap for the Swans' forward pressure in that instance that turned a Richmond @@@@ up into a goal to Cracker.
