Summary
It's make or break, do or die, backs to the wall stuff, (insert other trite sayings) for the Reserves. While we can speculate on what other teams need to achieve for the team to sneak into Top 4, the simple fact remains that they must win this game or the streak of 4 premierships will come to an end. Despite Tuggeranong occupying the bottom spot for most of the year, 2 of their 3 wins have come at the expense of the Swans and they will be no pushovers.
The team list seems to be shrinking by the week with a number of season-ending injuries reducing the squad's size to just 10 listed players. Leo Barry's promotion to replace the hamstrung McVeigh is somewhat offset by the possible return of Brendan Murphy to shore up the defence. Veszpremi suffered a knock to his hip in last week's match and did not return after quarter time, but thankfully was not placed on the injury list. Nathan Gordon also suffered an injury against Eastlake, but returned later on and played out the game.
If the team manages to secure the 4 points, one of the following two scenarios must play out for the Reserves to play finals the next week:

- Eastlake must beat Queanbeyan (perhaps a few of the players could have a quiet word to their former teammate Aaron Bruce) - Eastlake have won 2 of their 3 clashes this season, but Queanbeyan triumphed in their last meeting or if failing that;
- Belconnen must thrash Ainslie and the combined margin of the Reserves's victory over Tuggeranong and Belconnen over Ainslie must be somewhere in the vicinity of 190 points (take or give a few)
