    post match function for mickey o

    i was wondering if anybody at Saturday nights game with Geelong saw on the big screen an announcement for a function after the Sydney v Brisbane match.

    The function in the MA Noble stand for Mickey O? The sign read you need to get tickets. When I rang the club, I was told there is no function at all!!

    I am not confusing it with the Club Championship Dinner. It definetly said after the Sydney v Brisbane game.

    I was not alone in seeing this, but I can get nowhere with the club.

    Was i dreaming? or did someone else see this. It came up several times and we also saw it at the Sydney v St Kilda game.

      It was the club champion dinner that was advertised.
      You'd better hurry up if you want tickets. I hear there's only about 100 left.

          I think there was also a message encouraging people to buy tickets for the actual game and promoting it as the farewell to Micky O ...

                  tyvm annie and alison for your replies. I must have read it wrong! We are coming down from Newcastle for the last game and staying at the Cross for the weekend. Will go to club as well!!!
